About Emily

As a current graduate student in public health with a focus on maternal health, I bring six years of experience working with families and children in various roles, including as a babysitter, nanny, birth/postpartum doula, direct support specialist, family support specialist, and day camp counselor. I've worked with children of all ages, families with multiples, and neurodivergent children, providing tailored care to meet diverse needs. My approach is flexible, holistic, and creative, with an emphasis on outdoor play, arts, and crafts to foster development. I value open communication with parents, respect household rules, and prioritize creating nurturing environments where children can thrive. Through my work, I aim to support both children and families in meaningful, impactful ways, drawing from my experience and passion for family well-being.
