About Emily

Hello! I have been working with children in a variety of different roles for almost two decades, and I am now seeking my next role in childcare, child transportation to school, pet care, home care, or a mixture of all the above. I have worked as an early childhood educator in several Montessori and Reggio-Emilia classrooms, as well as the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center's museum-based preschool. I have also worked as a museum educator for all ages, giving me a great passion for fostering creativity and curiosity in children. I am currently an art educator and program assistant working in arts and health research for a community art program serving the military community at a local university. I look forward to applying my strengths and skills as a highly experienced educator to working with you as a team to create a cheerful, comfortable system of care where everyone feels supported, every day!
