About Emily

Hello, my name is Emily and I am a 22-year-old who loves working with kids. I am studying to become a speech-language pathologist and hope to get more experience working with children and their families in different ways while in school. I have my own transportation and am currently working on completing my CPR/First Aid training. Although I don't have any official experience with being a caretaker, I did grow up as the second oldest of 6 children and gained several caretaking and life skills from it. I've always been passionate about children's growth and development, which led me to look into being a childcare provider. I believe in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. I'm patient, calm, and friendly, and I have a knack for connecting with children. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and routines, and always follow the parents' lead for what their child needs. Looking forward to helping you out!
