About Emily

Former middle school teacher with experience working with children of all ages. I have taught dance for children ages 3-18 for many years, was a nanny for 1-5-year-olds since Fall of 2020, have experience with newborns, have a 22-month-old daughter, and have helped raise three nephews. I have taken multiple early childhood development classes and am a k-8th grade certified reading teacher with endorsements in additional subjects as well. I enjoy the fine arts and creative play. I am comfortable with developing structured play activities and can provide homework help or tutoring. I am a strong swimmer, and enjoy outdoor activities. I do not mind light chores, food preparation, and can provide transportation if needed. I have an almost 2-year-old who would be with me while caring for your children. I have references from previous families where she was with me while providing childcare. I enjoy working with children of all ages and look forward to working with you!
