About Emily

Hi! I'm a kind, passionate, and highly-qualified educator. I've been teaching ESE Pre-K (special education) for the past 6 years in the public schools and 4 years in a private preschoaol. I graduated from Western Michigan University where I received my bachelors degrees in Special Education (K-12), Elementary Education(K-5), and Early Childhood Special Education (birth-age 3), with endorsements in Emotional Impairments and Learning Disabilities, and a minor in Language Arts (K-6). I've had experience teaching in England and West Africa through study abroad programs. I have experience teaching all ages, but I prefer to work with early childhood or elementary aged children. I'm very passionate about my profession and I would love to provide your family with tutoring or home schooling. I'm uncomfortable returning to the public schools with COVID-19, and I know there are families who feel similar and are seeking a high quality education in their homes.
