About Emily

Hi! I just graduated from Marymount's nursing program and I am looking for a temporary placement while I study for the NCLEX. I am cheerful, energetic, and I love to help others! I can not work as a nurse until I am licensed but I do have training working in the hospital with senior care- including incontinence management, bathing, medication management, wound care and daily care activities. I have also worked in my clinicals as a hospice nurse, and I am kind and calming. I would love to help out in the next couple of months while I study for my licensing exam. I am a mom of four and nursing is my second career. I am familiar with care protocols, like turning and flexibility training and I like to integrate my patient's likes and hobbies into care- for example, while on the med surge floor, I would sing Sinatra songs or just use my positive energy to get even a really reluctant patient to turn or take his medication. I would love to help your family as well!
