About Emily

I'd describe my personality as Patient, Encouraging, and Fun! I like working with kids because their pure joy is contagious! They are so fun to be around and give a different (usually interesting) perspective to things. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my schedule, and leaves me more full when I leave instead of draining me. Yes, kids can be a lot to handle but the joy that they bring far outweighs the efforts that are put in! I really started babysitting when family members had kids of their own, and now we have a 9-month-old and a 3-year-old, and a newborn coming in February! Working at camp allowed me to form relationships with kids ranging from 7-17, and it was so cool to better learn how to nurture kids of all ages! In my spare time, I like to take photos, serve at church, play with my dog, go on adventures, and spend time with my family! I am super involved with two things: Auburn Community Church and Auburn's Yearbook!
