Hello! My name is Emily and I am 23 years old. In January 2023 I graduated with my bachelor's of science from Cal State Fullerton majoring in Child and Adolescent Development with an emphasis in early childhood. I was a full-time teacher working in a classroom with 2-year-olds, but am now working towards my masters degree and teaching credential. I have 3 years of experience working with children between the ages of 2 and 5. However, I have been babysitting since my first nephew was born when I was 10. My most recent nanny position was caring for a 5-month-old and 18-month-old. I am dependable, patient, and energetic with a love for working with children. I am available to work anytime during the summer and during the school year I am available date nights and weekends. I have references available upon request. I am working to save for my future home. Emily is currently our full time nanny and has become the best thing that has happened to our little family. I had high anxiety when it came to even the thought of hiring a nanny. Before Emily, no one (not even our parents/family) babysat for us. Once Emily joined our family, all of my anxiety went away and I was able to leave Emily to care for our little one full time. I love Emily's background in child development as she is constantly teaching our little one new things and making sure she is hitting those milestones! Emily has been great at sticking to a routine/schedule but also very quick to adapt if our little one is going through a regression or teething. Our little one now 10 months always smiles and is excited for Emily to come over everyday. Emily has a very calming demeanor and so much patience. It's so hard to find people you trust with your little one and Emily is a true gem!
