About Emily

I am a classically trained musician with a Master's degree in Music and a lifelong passion for childcare. I have years of experience working with families throughout the Austin area, caring for children from 6 months to 12 years old. I have experience with multi-child families and traveling with families, and I am comfortable adapting to each family's routines and needs. I'm happy to lend a hand with homework and school projects, and I love sharing my passion for music with children who are learning or curious about it. I also have a background in theater education, having worked as a camp counselor with CYT Austin and ZACH Theatre. I genuinely love spending time with children and especially enjoy playing, exploring, and getting to know each child's unique personality and interests. I love their curiosity and imagination, and I find caring for children incredibly rewarding. I would be so happy to find a family looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic nanny!
