As a woman who has cared for over 20 families in my home community over the past 10 years, I find it a priority to incorporate a balance between safety and fun when working with children. Furthermore, I appreciate the necessity to maintain a professional yet nurturing tone and attitude with children. I spent my college years working as a day camp counselor during the summers, and babysat during that time on weekends. I attended John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH with a major in English, and Pace University (Manhattan) for my graduate degree in Special Education. Now I work as a full time teacher in a NYC middle school, but regularly return home to Buffalo during the summers to be with my family. I thoroughly enjoy caring for and playing outside with kids, and would welcome the opportunity to babysit for another family in Buffalo as a means of part-time employment during the summer!

I have had the opportunity to work with Emily for the past four years as her Principal in school. Emily is a hard working teacher. She comes to school each day well prepared to meet the needs of her students. Emily works with Special Education students as a team teacher for small groups. Emily is compassionate and fun loving. She gets along with her colleagues very well and is always ready to go the extra mile. Emily comes highly qualified to work will children and adults She is most reliable.. She is a joy to know and be around.
