About Emily

I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia. I am 23 years old. I studied at the University of Richmond for a year and a half before transferring to UGA to follow my passion of music. I majored specifically in Flute, with a certificate in Local Food Systems and a minor in Geography. I have a private studio of approximately 10 students, and have taught private lessons in middle schools and high schools around the region for the last two years. I was a music scholar at Milledge Avenue Baptist Church for the last year and a half where I also led the church's children's choir. I am the eldest of four. My siblings are ages 12, 15, and 18. The large gap in ages between me and my siblings has molded me to be very comfortable around kids and really helped me enjoy working with them. My passions outside of music include serving the community and sustainability. I am taking this break now to prepare adequately for graduate school applications for a Masters in Flute Performance.

Emily is my oldest child. She has spent many years babysitting her younger siblings (15, 12, and 8 years old) and my friend's children. She is an outstanding student and a leader. She is also an excellent musician. Emily is a kind, caring, and loving young woman. She would make an excellent caregiver for anyone who is lucky enough to hire her.
