About Emily

I'd describe my personality as kind, positive, and patient. I like working with kids because they make me laugh, I love watching them learn new things, and I love playing fun activities with them! I'm looking for a job that I can do for a couple hours during a weekend. I'm open to a weekly schedule or a need-based schedule. I started working with kids when I was 14. Since then I've worked in several preschools, and worked with a couple elementary aged children as well. In my spare time, I like to read, watch movies, go for walks, and spend time with family/friends! One thing you should know about me is I am a graduate student studying speech language pathology! I have experience working on speech/language with children age 1-12 years old and want to continue working with children after I graduate in May! My skills include facilitating child development skills for communication, creating a fun and warm environment, and providing empathy when needed.
