About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily, I am 23 yrs old, & I currently live in RI. I currently work for People INC as a family support worker for first time moms&dads! I have 9+ years experience with kids ranging from ages 3m-6+yrs old. I started working with children at the preschool that my mother taught at and continued working with kids since then. I graduated KSC with a BoS in Public Health, & a double minor of Nutrition & Communications, so I feel very well informed of the mind of a child as well as how to prepare meals. I was a long term nanny while studying at Keene State College for a family with a 2 yr old boy & a 5 yr old girl for 2 1/2 years. After college I have cared for a range of ages (3mths+), & I am familiar with gtube feedings. With this being said, I believe that most learning happens outside of school, through real life experiences. This is why it is critical to get away from technology and take them out so that they can play, explore, & enjoy the outdoors as a natural classroom!
