As an Elementary Education major at Purdue University, working with younger children has become my strong suit. I have a lot of experience both teaching in general classrooms and tutoring. I have worked in multiple elementary classrooms through my course work at Purdue. I have also tutored various individual students over the course of the past three summers in reading, writing, and math. I have previous experience with prekindergarten through grade four. I have also been a swim lesson instructor for the past four years. I went into the field of education due to my love of children and helping them learn new things. I enjoy watching kids grasp a new concept and learn not only the material given, but also to believe in themselves.
