About Emily

Hello! I'm an early childhood educator, nanny, and youth mentor of over a decade. I encourage play centric environments with an emphasis on whimsy and wonder. My favorites include sensory play, crafting, STEM experiments, cooking, or nature play. I have a wealth of experience in potty training, consent awareness, infant mobility work, developmental milestones, baby lead weaning, food allergies, and speech progression. I believe in creative curiosity as the foundation of interaction. I have ample experience from infancy to teens, with up to date CPR and first aid certifications. I have worked in special needs, foster homes, and adoption communities. My work is focused in attachment style theory, positive reinforcement, body boundary awareness, and play based interaction. My other interests include milestone development, mobility coaching, and Montessori/Waldorf school programming. When I'm not nannying, you can find me wild crafting, powerlifting, climbing, and whitewater rafting!
