About Emily

Hi! My name is Emi, and I'm a swim instructor & Project Manager with a B. A. in Neuroscience. I have over a decade of childcare experience, both professional and informal. I have 5 years of experience as classroom assistant/Student Teacher, 3 years as an SRV lead camp counselor, 4 years as a swimming instructor (all ages), and I've been babysitting since age 12. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of teaching children a wide range of activities: dance, swimming, theater, baby ASL, ukulele/music, academics, biking, juggling, and more. As a babysitter, I love being active! I'm happy to entertain at home, though my favorite activities with kids include supervising walking/hiking, biking, swimming, and more (I am a YMCA member, and I have a Toyota RAV4 & good driving record). Indoors, I enjoy card games, baking, Just Dance, and origami. I am primarily available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to late.
