About Emily

Hi there! My name is Emily and I am new to the Elk Grove/ Sacramento area. I have a degree in English education and a minor in history education. I nannied all throughout high school, college and after college in between my work as a teacher. I have experience with children as young as 3 months, up to high school. In the past, my tasks as a sitter have included cooking, cleaning, feeding, changing, bathing, taking children to events and social outings, helping with homework, taking them to parks, giving educational lessons, and much more. For five years I also worked at a summer camp which included the care and supervision for up to 14 campers. I have experience working with children with special needs, am CPR and First Aid certified, and have lifeguard experience. In my free time, I love to play with my dogs, enjoy the outdoors with my husband and do pottery. I love working with children and would be overjoyed to find a family that is caring and fun to work with!
