About Emily
I have over 6 years of experience tutoring math, reading, and science. In high school, I volunteered to tutor students in grades K-8 and in college I have worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader to help other college students in math. I am also graduating May 1st with a degree in mathematics and a STEM Education minor. I have spent the entire spring semester student-teaching in an 8th grade classroom. On top of my skills in the standard subject areas, I also have experience with the ACT. I scored a 34 overall on my ACT with scores of 36 in English, 35 in reading, 33 in math, and 33 in science. I spent hundreds of hours studying for the ACT at the end of my junior year, so I have several tips I could offer to your student.
