About Emilie

I grew up taking care of my cousins and sister that were 6 and 8 years younger than me. It's clear to my family and myself since a toddler, I have a special love for taking care of people, especially children. I spent my days as a young teen volunteering, going to youth group and babysitting for neighbors and family. In 2018, I worked an entire summer at a sleep away camp in Seattle, Washington called SAMBICA where I took care of up to 10 children ages 8-14 for a week at a time all on my own and it was such an amazing and enriching experience. I find childcare very natural and I feel complete as if I'm completing my purpose, this is why I'm undergoing training to be a Doula and working towards a Family Therapy degree.
