About Emilie

I'm Emilie! I have 8 years of full time classroom teaching experience, and 15+ years of nannying/babysitting exeprience. I am also currently a grad student working on my masters in trauma and resilience. simply put, I adore children! I really value getting to know the child(ren)- and families!- I care for to connect on a personal level to best support child growth and development. I am happy to help with light housework and tutoring, but also really love creating authentic and engaging learning opportunities through play and exploration. I prioritize the safety and happiness of all kids in my care through a gentle and loving approach. I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring, and fun! I like working with kids because I love to help kids see the magic within themselves and support them in exploring the world around them. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, hike, and explore the neighborhood with my husband and dogs.
