About Emiko

What I love most about working with kids is how thay see the world with wonder, curiosity, groundedness, and pure joy. Kids remind me how simple life can be, and being with them helps me reconnect with my own inner child as I watch them grow, and be silly. I'm patient, creative, and reliable, w/a conscious, holistic approach to supporting emotional well-being, creativity, being physical, and social skills. I've been on my own personal growth journey and have learned tools that can help kids understand how to regulate emotions, build confidence, and navigate challenges. I have 3yrs of experience teaching art to kids ages 5-15, a college degree, and current CPR/First Aid certification. I've also worked on boats, where safety is second nature. I'm comfortable caring for 1-2 children and can help with meal prep, carpooling, and housekeeping. I respect each family's parenting style and household rules, with the exception of spanking.
