About Emara

Hi! My name is Emara, I'm seeking a full or part-time childcare position starting around mid-Jan 2026. I'm a PA-certified PreK-5 educator with extensive experience as a nanny and Montessori primary teacher. I've worked with children of all ages, including infants. I love this work and approach it with respect for children's curiosity and routines! As a nanny, I enjoy creating activities at home and exploring libraries, parks, and museums with kids. Learning alongside children is the most rewarding part of my work. I have extensive experience with child development, fine and gross motor skills, phonics-based reading, and early STEAM learning. I'm also happy to incorporate Montessori pedagogy if it fits your family. I'm seeking a total of ~30 guaranteed hours/week, and am available until 3 p.m. M-F (with some flexibility). However, I'm also happy to work with two families, each part-time! I live near Ardmore Station. Let me know if you think we'd be a good fit!
