Hello, my name is Ema, and I come from a small town in the Rockies. I just finished my Psychology BA. with a focus on child development. I have always loved kids and find them to be the most brilliant people in the world. I started my career as an Au pair in France in February and March of 2017; during this time, I cared for four kids under 5 years old. My days were very hectic; caring for an infant, twins, and a 5-year-old boy was tough, but I learned a lot. After returning home, I decided to start working full-time while attending school. I am an artist: my main focus is photography, but I love to do DIY things around the house when I can. I am an animal lover and try to go out with my dog to hike and explore as much as possible. I advocate for hands-on learning and love to go to the zoo, museum, and park to learn new things. When working full-time, I like to keep a logbook of all the activities and details experienced throughout the day so you can come home and know our day.

Ema is outstanding! I wish we could keep her forever, but due to sudden changes in my job situation, we sadly had to let her go. In her short time with us, she cared for our 2.5 year old son and 6 month old daughter. My son instantly took to her, which was surprising because he often displays extreme attachment to me. He looks forward to Ema coming each day and rarely notices when I leave the house. With my daughter, Ema is always so sweet and nurturing, giving careful attention to her many developmental changes. I can't say enough good things about Ema's work with our kids and in our home. She is reliable, punctual, and resourceful. She has a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills. She also understands the importance of routines and healthy sleep, and she is able to gracefully navigate a day full of feedings, naps, play, and household tasks. She is very committed to her work and I'd hire her again in a heartbeat!
