About Elyssa

Hi, my name is Elyssa and I'm excited to be able to have the opportunity to work with families :D While I don't have much babysitting experience, I've previously worked with children, in tutoring, music, reading programs, and arts and crafts. To be honest, I used to not have much interaction with children until I moved to Malaysia last year, where not only was I surrounded by my extended family, but I also attended an international K-12 school. I was able to meet and interact with students much younger than me, and I also got closer with my nieces, whom I love and miss very much! I love working with children because they are always open to listening and understanding other people; I am often in awe of childlike wonder and curiosity, and I love engaging with people who are just as passionate and interested in the world as I am :) Fun fact about me: I am a collector of little trinkets and memorabilia which I find that children usually love to look at and play with xD
