About Elyssa

Hello! I'm an optimistic, reliable, & caring nanny seeking a family to join in a full-time capacity starting in Sep 2026. My college degree is in the arts, & I love getting to incorporate that passion into fun crafts & activities to encourage children to explore their creativity. I relocated to the Raleigh-Durham area last year with my husband after living in Chicago for 8 yrs. I've been involved in childcare since I was young & have experience as a full-time nanny, a teacher in a Montessori school, & a part-time sitter for a variety of ages from 0-12 yrs. I also volunteered in my church's nursery, leading the team in creating a safe & welcoming environment for children from 8 wks. to 18 mo. My favorite part of working with kids is the opportunity to encourage their growth & to see the world through their eyes. My goal is always to partner with parents in fostering a fun & safe atmosphere for their children to explore. I look forward to meeting you & your family!
