About Elysia

I've been a childcare provider for the past 6 years because I have a sincere passion for helping children grow and develop to their full potential. My patient and friendly nature allows me to build strong relationships with children and their families. I believe in open and consistent communication with parents, providing daily reports and regular updates about their child's day and any issues that may arise. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children of all ages, and I have experience with a wide range of activities and games that promote learning and physical development. I love being outdoors, playing sports, and exploring nature, but I'm just as happy to engage in educational games and technology-based activities. I have certification in early childhood education from a 2 year BOCES program, did many internships enabling me to work with all ages. I also worked in RCSD as a TA for 4 years. I have a car, so transportation isn't an issue, and I'm comfortable with pets!
