About Elysha

Elysha joined us in August of 2021 and nannied our 16 month old toddler twins and one other toddler of about the same age. I still recall the first time she walked through our doors; she was like a magnet to our children. She entered, got down on their level and was immediately engaging; her comfort with our twins and their comfort with her was apparent from the get-go. Practically speaking, Elysha is godsend. For two years she has fit our exact needs; two days per week at our home from 8am - 5pm. She is consistent and on-time. She has enormous attention to detail, is dedicated to a clean, safe and joy-filled home (our home never looks or feels better than when I come home after an Elysha day). Philosophically, we see eye-to-eye. It’s clear that she understands child development, and her skills from her time as a preschool teacher are clear in her interactions with our kids. She is kind, gentle and holds consistent boundaries. She’s endlessly creative, remarkably energetic and her treasure chest of kid-friendly activities is seemingly bottomless. She always comes up with an activity or experience that is accessible to them; nature walks to collect natural treasures, painting with what they find, new songs, weather observations, plant identification, letters, numbers, etc. Most importantly, our kids love her and they feel safe in her presence. Likewise, we feel safe knowing that Elysha is in charge of our children. If you have any questions, please contact us directly.
