About Elyse

Hello! My name is Elyse and will be graduating from Miami University in two weeks with a degree in French and linguistics and then moving permanently to Portland. I am very interested in a nannying or tutoring position because I find childcare work to be incredibly fulfilling and fun! I have experience as a classroom aid at a summer school for elementary and middle school-aged children and I also have a lot of experience babysitting my cousins throughout their childhood. At my university, I have taken on mentoring and tutoring roles during my four years there and absolutely love helping students learn and thrive. I have taken courses on ESL teaching and feel comfortable tutoring English. I also have a very strong background in French and would love to tutor and teach French as well! I have always felt like a job in childcare is where I would be the most happy and would love to work part- or full-time as nanny or tutor!
