About Elyse

I am an energetic, knowledgeable, and compassionate caregiver. My love for childcare began at a very young age and I began caring for as a teenager. This focus on child development led me to my career in education. I hold a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in in Special Education. I am also currently a licensed Special Education teacher and am currently employed as a middle school Special Education teacher/ case manager. I have training in and experience working with students with diverse needs (i. e. ADHD, Autism Spectrum disorders, speech delay and other physical or cognitive disabilities) My early childhood background also supports my care when responsible for infants and toddlers. With school aged children, I assist in completing homework and also provide private tutoring. My goal is to allow the parent and child to feel safe, and have fun, by creating a calming transition from parent to care giver. Personally, I have 2 children under 2!
