About Elyse

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, diligent, and silly. I like working with kids because it brings be a lot of joy to know I am helping shape them into the people they are meant to be! I'm looking for a job that is a full time position where I can form a professional relationship with the family of the kiddos I work with to cater to their needs effectively. I started working with kids when I worked as a cheer coach before college. After receiving my bachelor's degree, I immediately went into ABA therapy with special needs children and have been doing that for about 2 years now. In my spare time, I like to cook, read, enjoy nature, sing and play piano, and do yoga. One thing you should know about me is I have experience working children with some pretty impactful behaviors, meaning I do not shy away from a challenge. My skills include being a great play partner, teaching basic care skills (dressing, feeding, toileting), and I am great at incorporating learning into fun.
