I work at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for 12 years and for the first 7 years I did transport where I was more hands on with patients. Majority of the patients where older sick people . I would get them out the bed and on to my cart sometimes when they get out of bed they ask me to assist them with goin to the bathroom or to help them with what ever they need till the nurse arrives . I enjoyed helping in any way I could . So that's why I would not mind working with elderly people because I love helping them .
