About Elvia

I'm Elvia, I have been working with the elderly for over five years. I started when I became my grandmothers full time caretaker when she had her first stroke and then developed Vascular Dementia. I then went on to become a program manager for the Salvation Army's Day Time Adult Program , for people with memory impairment. I then went on to work for a private company with 3 homes, 6 residents to a home with all levels of memory impairment. I have worked with hospice and closely with a long time RN learning behaviors and medications , first aid knowledge. Recently I have worked with a patient who had multiple medical conditions, I worked closely with his care coordinator and helped provide care with medication, bathing, transportation, hospital stays, nurse visits, iv hydration setups, meal preparation, companionship and light housekeeping I love what I do, I am happy when I wake up in the morning to get to a clients home and help them live the best life they can.
