About Ellie

Hi there! I'm a graduate student pursuing my masters in clinical mental health counseling. While I finish up my degree and work on my internship, I'm very excited to work as a nanny again and spend time caring for kiddos. I come from an extensive childcare background, with about seven years of experience as a nanny, two as a primary school teacher, and three in a residential treatment facility. That being said, I've worked with children from many different backgrounds, trauma histories, and learning styles. My approach to childcare is warm, nurturing, firm, compassionate, fun, creative, and teaching-oriented. I love working with parents collaboratively to ensure that my style meets the needs and desires of the family. I also adore pets, and would be happy to help with light housekeeping and other tasks around the house. I understand how much work goes into taking care of a family and a household, and I hope to be a powerful asset to the family I end up with.
