About Ellery

Hello! My name is Ellery and I am a Brooklyn-based artist and caregiver with a genuine love for working with children and creating a safe, creative, and engaging environment. I currently help teach jewelry-making classes in Manhattan to children ages 8-18, and I have several years of nannying experience. During college, I cared for three children ages 5-12 for two years, and I previously worked as a nanny this past summer, caring for a family of four children ages 11-14. As an artist, I love bringing creativity into my time with kids through arts and crafts, cooking, music, and exploring the outdoors. I enjoy trying new recipes together, making things, and finding fun ways to keep children curious and engaged. I am responsible, organized, and safety-conscious, while also being warm, playful, and easygoing. Above all, I want the children I care for to feel safe, supported, and comfortable being themselves.
