15+ years of experience in childcare, most recently from 2016 until present. I'm also a licensed Pharmacy Tech and studied Accounting and Computer Science in college and have worked in all of those fields. 

My greatest joy now is childcare. I'm experienced, dependable, nurturing, kind, and loving and am also a mom of a grown son. I've cared for many babies and kids from infants to 10-year-olds, and still do so regularly. Consistency with kiddos is key and open communication with the parents is very important to me! My current availability is for random part time back up care for afternoons/evenings on Tues/Wed. I am also available some Fridays after 5 p.m.  and Sat/Sun for day/evening/date night jobs. Ellen was wonderful the moment she arrived. She instantly made both my husband and me feel comfortable and the handoff for our first time leaving our daughter with her was easy and smooth. She jumped right in and allowed us to enjoy a great day date. She even helped put our baby down for bedtime and thoughtfully asked if I wanted to nurse or pump when I got home early. I really appreciated her caring nature and calm presence. I felt completely comfortable and trusted her while we were away. 

Ellen has cared for our boys for over two years. She is full of energy and joy and we love having her in our home. She dedicates time to learning about whatever my kids love to do and then enthusiastically plays right along with them. She is always on time and rolls with our schedule which seems to be always changing with different sports practices. Ellen cooks healthy meals and has gotten my kids to try new foods! I know when I come home, the kids have had consistent rules, routines and expectations and our home is picked up which makes me feel so cared for as a mom. Ellen has also done over nights a few times and there is no one we trust more to care for our kids for an extended time. My kids have food allergies and because of Ellen’s experience as a pharmacy tech, she is aware of how to use an EpiPen or dose Benadryl. I don’t have to worry about my kids’ allergies when Ellen is caring for them. Any family would be so lucky to have Ellen care for their children!

Ellen is kind, thoughtful and nurturing. She has always been early and dependable. We have always appreciated that she genuinely interacts with our children and cares immensely about their development. Would highly recommend Ellen.

Ellen has been with our family, caring for our two boys ages 5 & 7 for over a year. She has so much energy to play board games, take them to the park, ride bikes and to play basketball and soccer. Ellen is such a bright and smiling presence in our home and at the same time she is consistent with expectations for my kids. They they truly thrive in her care. In addition to childcare, Ellen cooks meals and does light housework when the kids are occupied or sleeping. We feel so lucky to have Ellen caring for our kids and I am thankful for her experience with kids of all ages. She has seen it all and has helped me with advice on how to handle new issues as they come up.

Ellen is a wonderful nanny and she’s done an excellent job caring for our son. Ellen has taken care of our son for the past several months as he’s transitioned from an infant to a one year old, and she’s done a great job caring for him through new stages. Ellen is attentive, thoughtful and clearly loves her job. In addition, she is punctual, dependable and a great communicator. We’ve loved having her in our home! 

Ellen has been our date night sitter for three years and she is amazing! She is thoughtful, knowledgeable, kind, dependable, patient; all around simply wonderful. My boys love her so much they even include her in drawings of our family and always ask when they can have another "play date" with her. I wouldn't trust my kiddos with anyone else, she has set the bar so high!

Ellen has been helping our family for 7 months. She is incredibility friendly and easy to be around and does a wonderful job entertaining and keeping our one-year-old happy. She is always extremely positive and enthusiastic and her experience with children is evident.  She easily navigates the needs of our little one and is working on his sign language and other motor skills. We can always rely on Ellen to be on time, support our family as needed and we certainly trust her to be left alone with our little one. She is a wonderful addition to any family, and we are truly lucky to have her help and care.

Ellen has been kind and patient with our two kiddo's. She is very warm and friendly, would definitely recommend.

I hired Ellen for a 2 hour baby sitting gig and she was great! Open to meeting up with me beforehand so I could get to know her a little better, she was on time for the meet up and when she came and watched my son. She is super sweet she seemed to have such a motherly feel/vibe to her. Her experience was as a plus because my son is going through a separation anxiety phase! I would definitely use Ellen again!

Ellen has been our full-time nanny for 3 years now - currently for 2 girls - 3 y/o and almost 1 y/o.  she is dependable, punctual, and very enthusiastic.  she loves my girls as if they were her own.  Ellen has been very flexible with us and our ever-changing schedules.  I highly recommend her for any of your child care needs!






Ellen was our eldest daughter's nanny for approximately 8 months when our daughter was 3 months old until she was about 11 months old.  Ellen also did light housekeeping for us while our daughter napped. Ellen was a fabulous nanny for our baby.  She is mature and respected our routines for our daughter and provided our daughter with love and security.  Ellen treated our daughter with the care that she would give her own child.  She bathed, dressed, and fed our daughter in the mornings and took her for walks out in the fresh air.  Ellen played with our baby, helping to teach her colors, shapes, and numbers.  She also worked with her to learn to roll over, to crawl, and to stand.  She approached each day with enthusiasm and smiles so our baby knew that she was genuinely cared for.  Ellen also was flexible (with notice) if I needed to stay a little later due to a meeting.  I highly recommend Ellen for any childcare position.  She genuinely loves children.

Ellen worked as a Nanny for us for several years total. She was very dependable and simply did a fantastic job in caring for our kids. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her in working with children of any age, whether in an in-home setting or elsewhere.
