About Ellen

Over the last 10 years, I have tutored middle/high school and college students in Spanish, English/essay writing, college applications, psychology, education, and religion. As a TA at IU for the last 3 years, I have created assignments, managed online discussions, worked 1:1 with students, and facilitated classes and study sessions. I specialize in teaching students how to create consistent processes and structures they can apply to many topics and classes, as well as showing them resources to use so we can "take the training wheels off" and let them succeed on their own after working with me. In end-of-semester IU evaluations, multiple students have said that I was the best TA they ever had, and my tutoring students have told me that they wouldn't have done nearly as well in their degrees without my support, both of which are the best compliments ever!
