I believe that children learn best through play that is fun, spontaneous, hands-on, and challenging. As a summer babysitter, I will be involved, engaged, and definitely outside - I can't wait to learn alongside your child(ren)! I have two years of early childhood education coursework and am on track to earn my CDA. I worked at the CDCLR @ VT from Feb 2019 - Jan 2020 and the Bruins Beginnings Preschool for about two years. During my time there, I planned and taught lessons, documented progress, and assisted lead teachers and administration. I plan on continuing my child development studies in college at Vanderbilt University's Child Care Center. I hope to make a significant impact in early childhood care & education policy throughout my career.
