About Ellen

I am an NYU graduate currently living in Brooklyn. I have experience in both childcare and educational assistance dating back several years (references can be provided, of course). I studied a mix of political science, human rights, French, and Spanish while in college, and I spent two years studying and abroad where I continued to work as a nanny and private English tutor. I am fluent in Spanish and conversational in French, and also have experience with SAT prep, executive functioning tutoring, and reading/writing assistance. I feel that I am quite flexible and able to adapt lessons to fit the needs of each individual child, and I understand that in these difficult times additional adaptability will be essential. I am more than willing to work with varying schedules or to accommodate children from multiple families in a pod learning scenario. I am open to discuss my availability, your expectations, or any other questions/concerns that may arise!
