Hello! My name is Ellen. I currently serve with AmeriCorps as a health teacher and am about to start medical school at UConn in August. Last year, I was a sixth-grade STEM and math teacher in San Juan, PR. For five years before that, I worked at Chatham Yacht Club during the summers coaching kids ages 4-18. My philosophy with kids of all ages is to challenge them and engage them with meaningful activity so they can grow. I would be a good fit for curious kids with an enthusiasm for learning. I am CPR and first aid certified.
