About Ellen

I've dedicated the last 6 years of my life to being a childcare provider because I have a passion for fostering children's growth and development. My experience in previous babysitting roles was so positive that I decided I wanted to make a career out of caring for kids. I'm patient, calm, friendly, and approachable, which I think are important qualities for a caregiver. I like to communicate with parents about their child's day and any issues that arise by talking with them when they pick up their children, but I'm also happy to communicate via text or email if that's what they prefer. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules, and I do so in a firm but fair manner. I like to play outdoor sports and physical games with children, as well as board games and puzzles. I also enjoy playing educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children at a time, and I have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens.
