About Ella

Hello! My name is Ella, I'm entering my final year of undergraduate study majoring in music and songwriting. I've worked with children in a wide variety of capacities including as a camp director and counselor, respite caregiver, music teacher, and sister to a much younger sibling. One of the positions I enjoyed most involved caring for children on the autism spectrum. I approach caregiving with the philosophy that children have so much to teach adults. I strive to create an environment that allows children to safely explore their natural creativity and curiosity. I've taught children how to write their own songs and usually have my guitar in tow. I'm hoping to find a family who needs care on weekdays and weekends. I do have musical performances on some evenings, but can generally work around your schedule with advance planning.
