About Ella

As the oldest of three I was taking care of my younger siblings as soon as I could. I found myself to be good at caretaking and started babysitting in middle school and into my adult life until I began college. I then focused on my studies and went on to become an EMT which I have been doing for the past 9 months. After working with younger patients I am eager to work with them more outside of a clinical setting. I volunteer at Lurie's Children's Hospital and find it incredibly rewarding to be a positive presence in these children's lives, and I'd like to carry that into my work. I am capable and comfortable being with children who have special medical needs. Growing up in a smaller city, I valued my time outdoors and exploring new places. I carry that same energy into my caretaking. With my car in the city I'm able to explore more and see new things even after being here for five years. I'd love the chance to see what the city has to offer while helping you with your childcare needs.
