About Ella

Working at an overnight summer camp for two years has taught me to have endless patience, grace and a deep passion for working with children, especially special needs kids. I believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment in which to grow. Through communication with parents, I ensure that I'm meeting the needs of each child. I follow the parents' lead on setting and enforcing household rules. I believe that consistency is key in a child's development. I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages, and I have a variety of fun, creative, and educational activities to keep them engaged and entertained. From outdoor sports and board games to puzzles, riddles, and educational games. I'm CPR, First Aid, and lifeguard certified! I'm always willing to help out with additional tasks like cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and even travel. I have two large dogs and a hermit crab myself so I also know my way around pets.
