I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and fun! I like working with kids because I find it very rewarding to help guide them to do something new, such as a hard math problem, a handstand, or an authentic apology. I'm looking for a job that is stable and flexible all at the same time while feeling tight for me and the kids. I started working with kids when I was in high school as a baby sitter. Then I was a camp counselor at a Girl Scout I loved so much! In my spare rim, I like to do various circus arts, such as, hiking, swimming in the ocean, rock climbing, aerial silks, handstands, and Slacklining. I also sing and play ukulele, crochet, do crafts, weave baskets, and read! One thing you should know about me is I like to think of myself as a fun, but I also do not condone bratty behavior. I would like to think I am quite the opposite to a pushover in that regard. My skills include my playfulness, tutoring, and timeliness.

We were extremely fortunate to have Liz for 9 months. She is in, in a word, magical. First, Liz is not a career nanny - she is actually a multi-talented acrobat. She is very active and got along swimmingly with our older daughter (6) and toddler (1 when started). She has a joyful and loving personality with her own childlike enthusiasm for crafts, playtime, and costumes - oh the costumes! They had a ball whether at home or at the park. While the kids viewed her as more of a playmate than a caregiver, Liz is also very experienced with older kids and good at setting expectations and boundaries on behavior. She is reliable and punctual to the dot and always checks in to let you know in case there is any delay. She is also great at communicating what is happening with the kids, following instructions, and letting you know her needs as well. I cannot recommend Liz more highly and we hope she will continue to be in our lives!
