About Elizabeth

I am 23 years old and my family is from El Salvador. I moved from SFSU to CCSF last year. I changed my major from Criminology to Early Child Development. I started volunteering as a teacher helper at Sunday school classes at my church when I was 15years old and I've also worked for 3 families with children in different age groups. I have experience with newborns, toddlers and elementary age children. Specifically, I have worked with children who were about 7 months and up to 3 years, and 1-5th graders. I worked and volunteered at Jamestown Community Center at Cesar Chavez Elementary School and also Horace Mann during summers. I was a tutor during the school year with occasional substituting as a teacher there and during the summers I was a teacher for 3rd and 5th graders. I love going for walks, reading to children and playing with them. It makes me happy when I am able to teach them something new.
