About Elizabeth

I'd describe my personality as creative, positive and nurturing. I like working with kids because I have a strong sense of wonder myself. I'm looking for a job that satisfies my nurturing creative side and I enjoy their curiosity and discovery. I started working with kids when I was 14. I started babysitting and continued to babysit in my home while my children were young. Went to college and got a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have worked at Early Head Start and Head Start. I was Home Provider for a young man with Autism for 4 years and most recently working as a substitute teacher in the local school districts. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, board games and crafts. One thing you should know about me is I love being around little people. I raised seven wonderful children and I miss having little ones around. My skills include knowledge and experience in child development, flexibility, and emotional intelligence.
