I have always had a fondness for the elderly population. As a young child through high school, my mother and I would visit the members of our church. I looked forward each week to seeing their eyes light up at our arrival. I also enjoyed listening to their stories and spending time with them. While attending college, I participated in an Adopt A Grandparent program in which I was paired with a lovely elderly couple. We attended many university events together, visited each other on campus and at their home and shared many meals together. More recently, I cared for my husband's grandmother during the last year of her life. This experience led me to become a part-time caregiver while also working as an elementary educator. I am a caring, compassionate, patient, responsible individual who will provide the utmost care and attention to your loved one.

Backstory: We met Ms. M about 2 years ago when my daughter was in her kindergarten class and she did amazing work with her and the rest of the girls in her class. We attribute her good penmanship (now) to Ms. M because we really didn’t teach her that at home. When we were looking for someone to tutor our toddler and found her, I immediately reached out to her and she graciously agreed to help us. Current story: We’re gutted we only had her for the summer but happy for the next child. In few sessions, she got my toddler spelling his name. Even though they spent an hour each time, that hour was packed with routines so the child knew what was coming. Thank you for starting off our children’s educational journey in an exciting way. Your hard work, dedication, experience and expertise did not go unnoticed. We were amazed at how much you did this past few weeks and will be forever grateful for the start off you gave our son. You promised to do your best, you did it and we love it. Thank you for the resources you gave us to continue with him. Needless to say, we’ll be happy to have you back whenever you’re in MD again!!!
