About Elizabeth

Hey! I like working with kids because it gives me a new perspective on life. In order to communicate with children you have to try and understand where they are coming from. I started working with children seemingly my whole life. I'm the second oldest child in a family of 5 children so I've helped take care of my siblings. I also worked for some volunteer children's camps when I was a teenager. When I'm away at university I nanny for a family part time which has been going steady for three years. I also started to babysit for another family going on two years. In my spare time, I like to go for walks or to the beach. I also like to write and read. I love to cook and create. My skills include interacting with the children in developmentally appropriate ways, working with the parents to understands your child's needs and keeping consistent to your parenting wishes. Listening to your child's needs and ensuring that they are safe and feel heard.
