Lizzy is such a sweet and kind person. She worked for a Village Farm as an intern and then an AmeriCorps member for over 2 years. She helped much during our educational youth programming, along with leading our Lil Sprouts program for preschoolers and their parents. During this program she would take the kids around the garden and teach them about how vegetables grow and how to plant and care for our crops. She also would provide a healthy snack for the kids and do various farm activities with them. Lizzy also helped maintain our growing space and care for our chickens at the farm. She is a great educator and has a great way with kids. She is also amazing with animals and had the role of "Chicken Momma" in which she cared for our hens. She is such a great caretaker and always kept a watchful eye on the garden and our animals. She has a huge heart and cares so much to do things well and right. She is a great communicator and is very dependable. We so loved having her at the farm.
