We enjoyed meeting Leeza at our interview. She seemed like an answer to prayer for our family. We were absolutely wrong about her. She agreed to work for my family at her interview. I bent over backwards with my management to get my work schedule changed so that she would have more hours. But when I reached out to give her my new schedule - she ghosted us. Text, Email, Care.com, Voicemails. She messaged back once to say her personal life was complicated. Then nothing. We called her references - 1. Wrong number. 2. former manager who never called back. 3. Said she hadn't been a part of her life for years and didn't feel comfortable recommending her for the job. YIKES. My husband got fired up and found a different phone number on google and inadvertently called her mom where we learned that she wasn't dead but rather took a different job. Incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional. We are now eating up vacation days to cover the shifts she ghosted us for. Zero starts. Do not recommend.
